Through experience, we have learned that safety is good business as it results in higher motivation, higher productivity, and greater profits of both real and intangible value. We have also learned that safety, in the restricted sense, is protection of our employees and in a broader sense can be termed "loss control". With these thoughts in mind, we have developed a safety program that addresses the areas of unplanned costs due to a variety of factors. Our program specifically looks at potential loss areas such as personal injury, property damage (both permanent and temporary), lower morale and low productivity stemming from an unsafe work site, lack of supplies and equipment, fire, theft, penalties, claims (both contractual and public), and work slowdowns or stoppages during safety / health inspections. Knowing that any of our projects will have its own unique aspects, we develop a customized safety program to match the project's individual needs and circumstances. It is our policy to analyze such factors as scope, potential length of project, amount of hours to be worked, geographical location, and requirements of the owner when developing a safety program. Based on the latter and other considerations, we will establish a program based on the three key areas of development, implementation, and enforcement. |
Safety is, and always will be, an integral part of BIS Frucon Industrial Services. "Safety Always" has been a tradition at our company and will continue to be the motto we stress to all company supervisors and crafts people.
