Procter & Gamble Dish Care Detergent Project |
|
The Procter & Gamble Manufacturing Company needed to build additional capacity and flexibility at its St. Louis, Missouri facility. This was accomplished by replacing the old powder conveying systems with two large vibratory conveyors. The new conveyor systems were installed while maintaining production in the operating areas at all times. New bins and major structural modifications were also completed as part of the new powders handling system. Separate, three week long, round the clock shut downs were required to put the new delivery system equipment in service.
Additional packing capacity was also created by the installation of a new high-tech automatic dish detergent converting machine. A new climate controlled two story building addition was built to house the new converter and associated support equipment.
BIS Frucon Industrial Services completed this work during a 9 month long project to its dish care powders business. More than 150,000 construction effort hours were executed without any injuries.
