BIS Frucon Industrial Services has been the onsite contractor at The Folger Coffee Company sites for over 30 years, so when the decision was made to consolidate their retail coffee production to the New Orleans, Louisiana facility we were chosen to lead the construction effort. The existing New Orleans site infrastructure was increased and the facility was renovated and expanded to handle the increased production at the site. This consolidation effort moved production from their San Francisco, CA, Kansas City, MO, and Sherman, TX locations, and included the installation of new process and packing equipment and storage silos, along with relocated equipment from the Kansas City and Sherman plants.
