Elbe Watkins

ElbeElbe Watkins has devoted over 33 years to the construction industry with 30 of those in service to subsidiaries of the Bilfinger Berger AG group:  Fru-Con Construction Corporation and presently with BIS Frucon Industrial Services.  He began his construction career working as a field safety technician while attending night classes focused on Occupational Safety. Thirteen years were spent working at various project locations around the US acquiring experience in the industrial services, heavy civil, power, cement mineral, and paper producing construction markets. In 1988, Watkins was named Corporate Safety Director responsible for overall coordination and leadership of Loss Control activities. In his current role as Director of Corporate Risk, he manages the varying aspects of risk and insurance in addition to safety and safety training for BIS Frucon Industrial Services Inc. while concurrently providing these services for BIS customers in Europe, Asia, and North America. Elbe's strengths include his leadership skills and his ability to develop a high functioning "team concept" within those people in which he interfaces.

Watkins has a B.S. in Business Management from National Louis University (NLU) and remains active in the Risk Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and National Safety Council (NSC).
