BIS Frucon

Detemination, training, and cooperation have led to major Safety accomplishments at the following sites managed by BIS Frucon Industrial Services Inc.

Alexandria, Lousiana - P&G has gone 12 months without a recordable injury.  Special attention was given to four key areas: hand, back, eyes, and ankles.  The site diligently enforced wearing the correct PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), increased the awareness of good housekeeping, rolled-out the JSA (Job Safety Analysis) and SAFESTART programs and implementated near miss reporting which all worked together in achieving this safety goal. 

Kansas City, Kansas - P&G site has 5 years, 590,000 effort hours without a recordable injury.  They enforce a thorough prequalification process to ensure subcontractors hired do their work safely.  P&G management, field personnel, and BIS Frucon Industrial Services have an excellent working relationship and take pride in their safe achievements.  They attribute the utilization of the Ongoing Feedback System for their safety success.

Augusta, Georgia - P&G accomplished 8 years without a recordable injury. This journey began on January 16, 2001 and was reached on January 16, 2009. Dedication to safety, owner's support and commitment to safety, near miss reporting, the recognition program, and utilitizing the Ongoing Feedback System have all contributed to these milestone accomplishments.

Chattanooga, Tennessee - BASF project site reached a high point on December 29, 2008 by completing 5 years without a recordable injury. This accomplishment is attributed to the strong Safety Program which implemented the following:  SAFE START, the usage of JSA's,  stressing continuous safety improvement, continuous safety / procedure training,  and Morning Tool Box Meetings which encourages open discussions.
